Adult Choirs

Emmanuel Choir (high school – adult) Thurs. @ 6:30

Women’s Chorus (high school - adults) 1^st & 3^rd Tues. @ 7:00 Emmanuel Handbells Choir (high school-adult) Wed. @ 7:15.  Seasonal choirs / ensembles

Wednesday’s Alive (adults and children)

Light suppers at 6:00 PM followed by worship at 6:30 PM. This provides both a mid-week worship opportunity and an opportunity for people who work Sundays.  Communion is offered on the first Wednesday of the month. These are scheduled for September through May

J.O.Y. (Just Older Youth)

We go to a different restaurant in the area each third Thursday. We meet at the church and car pool, planning to get to the restaurant of the month by noon. All are invited to join in this fellowship.

Evangelical Lutheran Church Women – Bible Studies

Esther Circle – 1:30 PM, 1^st Wednesdays

Rebekah Circle – 9:15 AM 2^nd Thursdays

Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America

WELCA – projects and quarterly meetings with women from other Lutheran churches in the area.  Contact Dorthy Glass for additional information.

 Service Opportunities

Always looking for volunteers for Greeters, Ushers, Lectors, Tellers, Cooking Teams, Altar Guild, Pastoral Care Team, and Parish Nurse Programs.  We are open to expanding into other areas of service to our communities – see Pastor.  Each could utilize your spiritual gifts.

Committees

Property, Learning, Witness, Finance, Stewardship, Service, Worship & Music, Mutual Ministry, Youth, Congregational Life. Each could utilize your spiritual gifts.

Small Groups

Bible Study, service, fellowship, singles.  Talk with Pastor about starting a group activity of interest to you.
